Transport Canada requires that docks and boat hoists receive permits. To find out more about the Tranport Canada permits follow this link. The Summer Villages Office can issue upland consent letters, we do require a copy of your application.

Working Well Workshop

The key to ensuring a safe and secure water supply is in knowing how groundwater works, learning about your well and understanding how to properly maintain it. To find out how to protect your well, attend one of the free water well management workshops on February 22 or 23, 2010.

The workshops will cover:
-groundwater - how it works
-water quality and quantity testing
-well protection - protecting your well from contamination
-water sampling - how to do it
